Random Updates

There are random things going on with our family. None of which would make a quality post on their own, but throw 'em together, add a little sarcasm and we'll see what happens. Hope springs eternal (this is my favorite new saying by the way -Ryan's going to love it).

Generally, one gives bad news followed by good. So, lets begin with things that suck:

• Three trips to the pediatrician so  far this week - see below for details.
• Bode has his second ear infection in 3 weeks. Poor guy - but you'd never know though- he's so good. 
• Ali came down with something viral. Nasty high fevers and other unpleasantries.
• Chloe won't listen. Or sleep. She gets up for no good reason 6-7 times each night. She's like the boy who cried wolf. But, the girl who drove parents mad is certainly more befitting. Anyway, now that we're enduring her terrible two's I understand the correlation between alcoholism and raising toddlers. I don't really know if there is one, but she sure makes me assume so.
• The real estate market here is slim pickin's. No house for us yet - but we're enjoying our time in our rental. No, we're not. But, hope springs eternal. Right?

And - for agreeable symmetry - things that don't suck:

• Caden got his sling off! 
• Chloe is wearing big girl undies!
• Ryan finally bought a vehicle!
• Last night we watched RED. We loved it. Hilarious. Four stars.

Happy Thursday - Caden has a music program tonight. He's been begging all week to get out of it. His big argument: "They don't have a P.E. program. They should have a P.E. program, not a boring music program. I don't want to sing baby songs like Twinkle, Twinkle ... "
