Last weekend we took Ali and Caden to the Iowa State vs. Nebraska game in Ames. Unfortunately, the Cyclones lost in overtime, but the kids had a blast tailgating and cheering for the Clones.

Ali was a little confused. First, she thought we were camping. Then, she thought we were actually playing football. She asked me when Caden was going to put on his shoulder pads and if they were going to throw her the ball. :)

Of course, Ali made some new friends at the game. I had to fight hard to get her to sit with me again!
Although we don't get there as often as we'd like, Ryan and I absolutely love being in Ames. It sort of feels like home to us there. Ames is where we started our life together, made great friends and amazing memories. It was really special to share this weekend with our "big kids" in a place we love so much. Go Cyclones!
